We have now started to implement
Chat Support for Jaxed, I am not really 100% sure why a blogging system would want to have a Chat Client integrated but I think the reason to why must be;
because we can ;)
Anyway the Chat Client is almost done and I will release a new version during a week or something which means that we all can have the benefits of chatting on our blog items... :)
The basic foundation is that you will get one "chat room" for every blog you create and people reading your blogs will get a button from which they can initiate the chat client. And if there are anyone in the "chat room" from before the readers will be able to see this in your blog item. Then when the people in the chat room is finished chatting with eachother the entire chat will be stored and shown underneath the blog item. I think this can be a great addition to the comment support in addition to that it might be a great way to hold unformal meetings and such.
